Mood For A Day

An RPG game called Cat Quest for less than £5 on the Switch e-shop, so of course I had to buy it.
Anyone interested in me streaming it at some point?

This is really very cool:

I used to support the Lib Dems, ever since I was a student. They had the right heart, I thought. Awesome ideas, focus on local politics, liberalism, personal privacy, abolition of tuition fees, reform of taxes... a number of things I thought were great.

Now they're in Government. But instead of doing what I thought they'd do, stopping the Tory excesses and introducing their own wonderful ideas as a counterpoint (ok, they've done some of this, but not nearly enough) the leadership is cuddling up the the Tories like pampered pets, blithely agreeing to whatever Cameron and his goons say like nodding dogs in the back of somebody's car and then sheepishly trying to persuade the party it's a good idea.

The final straw was the new bullshit Technology bill, the 'snooper's charter' where a clueless Government decides it wants to spy on everyone's emails and the Lib Dem leadership tries to persuade everyone what a great idea it is while being metaphorically booed off the stage.

I'm a Network Engineer. I have worked for an ISP. I have and still do run websites. I also co-host a podcast. I know what this would mean. My job and my creative life are both at risk from this inane, poorly-thought-out idea. If this Government and the party I supported for so long have no clue what they're doing here, I'll find someone who does.

In the words of Granny Weatherwax, 'I will not be having with THIS.'

I've never joined a political party before, but this issue cuts so close to my heart and soul, I feel I have to.
